A beach tennis club that takes reservations on WhatsApp and posts random phone videos is doing two jobs badly. Timezer’s resource engine books the court (sports, duration, blockage, mensalistas). Timezer Edge records the point, cuts a 15–120s clip, optionally burns a sponsor overlay, and gives the player a share link.
This article is the venue reference. It is not a gym-motivation guide. Workout diaries and fair lift rankings are Compefit.
Two scarcities on a court
- The hour — lights, wear, prime-time. Sold via resource booking, PIX or card, deposits, optional weekly subscription (mensalista).
- The moment — a winner at the net. Sold via replay (players share; sponsors buy overlay airtime).
Marketplaces and “replay-only” vendors usually own one scarcity. The club then pastes URLs together. Players feel the seams. Staff double-enter.
Player paths that already exist
- Logged-in replay — customer who booked on Timezer opens court replay for that booking and requests a clip.
- QR / anonymous — poster on the fence,
/{venue}/replay, pick camera, save clip without an account. - Share page —
/clip/{id}/{token}with Open Graph tags so WhatsApp and Instagram get a preview, not a raw file dump.
If QR replay is the polished path, use it. Do not hide clips behind “please register.” Registration can come later when they book next hour.
What owners see vs what only Timezer staff see
- Owners — clip library, sponsorship calendar, resource calendar, payments.
- Edge device and camera pairing — currently behind SuperUser impersonation in Admin. That is an operations gap: venues cannot self-serve cameras without Timezer ops. Plan installs accordingly (see Edge docs on the marketing site).
Honesty matters for SEO and for sales: Timezer is one commercial system; camera onboarding is still an assisted step.
Mensalistas (resource subscriptions)
Standing weekly slots are how clubs fill Tuesday 20:00 without a weekly argument. Timezer resource subscription plans + customer resource subscriptions are that product. Combine with payment-link emails. An unpaid mensalista is a donated floodlight — treat it like a failed deposit.
Sponsor airtime
Replay without a sponsor story is a cost centre (hardware, storage, overlay jobs). With reserved overlay slots, the clip pays for the camera. Admin sponsorship: sponsors, reservations, calendar, settings. Do not promise a sponsor a slot the software cannot reserve.
One-system rule
Book in Timezer. Clip in Timezer. Pay in Timezer. Share from Timezer. Every extra app is a place the player drops off and a place the owner forgets to update prices.
FAQ
Do I need Edge hardware to use court booking?
No. Resource booking, blockages, sports catalog, and mensalistas work without cameras. Edge is the replay layer.
How long can a clip be?
The product allows roughly 15–120 seconds per request. That is a shareable highlight, not a full-set archive.
Can players download without booking?
QR/public replay is designed so a walk-in can still leave with a clip. Convert them on the branded page afterwards — your URL, not a marketplace.
Is this the same as Kiplay / Prime Replay?
Those are replay-centric competitors. Timezer’s claim is booking + PIX + clip + sponsor in one tenant. Compare features on the existing replay articles; do not claim hardware you have not installed.
What about gyms and class booking?
Timezer can book a room as a resource or a class as a service, but it is not an access-control or gym-motivation platform. Do not market turnstiles you do not have. For athlete competition and plans, send them to Compefit.
